Today’s NaPoWriMo prompt is: Write a poem in the style of Kay Ryan.
As we pull,
the legs,
and snap,
the joints,
and crack,
the crab shell,
to find,
the meat of it,
I think,
of the hardness,
of the heart,
and yet,
the many ways,
it can be broken,
and the many ways,
it can be loved.

I like Kay Ryan!
I think you’ve done well. Simple, yet profound and reflective.
